Hi all, I am 20 years old and just bought my first metal detector (Garrett Ace 250) last night. I am super excited to go treasure hunting again. I had a little kid one when I was very young, and I would always go out with my grandpa. He gave my dad and I his old detector, but I really wanted to buy myself one that didn't use nearly as much batteries.

I am a junior at OU, and I can't wait to spend all of my free time hoping to find some great treasures. I have wanted to buy my own detector for YEARS, and I am thrilled that I finally saved up enough to get a decent one.
