Keep us updated on this AA. I hope everything's ok. It's heartbreaking to see animals hurt like this. Is he ok; and how are you and your wife?

:icon_thumleft:What a brave pup & hero. Hope you both are doing OK?

I'm sure you did no more than you had to in order to protect
your dog and family.

Back when I was doing nuisance control work to protect sheep,
there were days I had to shoot domestic dogs that had pretty
much gone feral. Some had collars and tags, and it was always
hardest to visit the former owner and tell them the truth about
why their dog didn't come home.

AA, sorry about the scars. Hope they're not too bad. Keep us posted on Gringo. If you get copies of the pictures, I'm sure some of us would like to see them; although I'm sure some would not want to see them.

Sad to see that :-[

i think he is hurt more mentally :dontknow:

I had been hoping/wishing the best for Gringo and ya'll. You remember when "Mike" ran after something and it seemed to affect him a little afterwards, too.
Do get us some update pics and best wishes. I'm sure he'll be happy to be home!

Hope the both of you get to feeling better. There is nothing wrong with protecting your wife and yourself, and it shows that Gringo is true and faithful companion. Wishing you all the best.
