Grl Friend's barn find!!

My grlf and I were poking around an abandoned barn . She found this Folksy carving thing on the floor under some boards . We looked up St. Walston - he is the Patron Saint of Farmers .He died back in 1016 . The back is dated 1944 .
We put it on the mantle over the fireplace , looks nice there !

It is a cool old/new post. I got to read it and love the history you are sitting on and learning from. BTW cool piece found in barn in 2006. What else have you discovered since then? You got good bones on this place for sure.
