Going to Gulf Shores, AL this weekend. I'm new to beach hunting as I mostly relic hunt. Any suggestions for location(s)? Should I go a low tide? Thanks.

I usually try to go a few hours before low tide and follow the tide out. At low tide there is a lot more beach exposed that your able to search. Also, many of the items lost at the beach are lost while people are in the water. So the wet sand area is a good place to search. Have fun and good luck.

[Bridge End Farm]

right where hwy 59 hits hwy 98 there is a park that lots of folks beach at. The locals there tellme it is good in the evening to hit. They comb it pretty good late at night with the city's machine

I hunted some Friday night and a few hours on Saturday near the Perdido Beach Resort on 90. Not much to be had, surprisingly clean even for trash. Got about 2 bucks in change, a matchbox car and cheap jewelry belly button ornimate. First time I used my MXT on the beach and it didn't do to well in the wet areas.
