I would have rather been working a full day, but whats a man to do with himself when the work day is over early!! I decided to hit a different yard that I got permission on thats fairly close to down town and the house has a rock footing under it which is always good. I wasnt having any luck with the strip between the sidewalk and the curb, but once I moved into the yard things got alot better! I was happy to see the first indian come up at 5in. From there on it was all wheaties and indians until I got around the side of the house and I got this signal that sounded like a penny. I cut the plug and flipped it out looking for my target. I found it in the bottom of the hole with the probe. When I got it in my hand I had to stop and figure out what I had because it looked bigger than a penny but had the same green tone to it from what I could see. The first thing I thought was "How the heck could I find another one of those darn NO CASH VALUE tokens!! But just then I realized what it was...WOOO HOOO!!!!! Yah buddy!!!. Not much dug after that. I was looking forward to getting home and cleaning up my finds so I called it a day very pleased with what I found.

I would definately go back and hit that area hard. I can see why you would stop getting that 2 center but you were on a roll. You couldn't drag me away from that site after find that coin. Nice pics and thanks for sharing.

Outstanding! I don't find that many coins in a year! (I never hunt coins)

That a great haul... and some great pictures too... :)

Dang thats a nice haul. I definitely would be back to that site. Good luck with it and keep us posted on what else you find.

The soil there was very kind to the copper, great finds for one hunt. In Utah that is a good season for most of us as far as Indians go. Do you smell a seated liberty dime still hiding there? Its that iffy signal about 7 feet from the foundation.......

Wow!

Great finds!

Excellent! You're finding some great coins lately.

Wow! Nice pow-wow you got going there and the 2 cent piece is nothing to shake a stick at either. Where there is copper there has to be silver! Get back in there and find'um! ;D

Wow a two center!!! That would make my day anyday ;D

I start hitting goodies like that one you'll have to drag me away -- Ivan

That 2 center is in great condition. Very strong "WE" on the in god we trust banner. Some great coins from a great site.

John, I've been slackin' in my checking of T-net. My season's winding down up here (btw, it's me, Plunk).
Your 1864 2-center is in better shape than mine, but I'm glad to be in the club.

Great pics of your first great haul from that site! I'm going to your 2nd post.
