Half dollar marker- who are you!

I've been getting skunk after skunk boxes of half dollars, I've been noticing a new and unique style of marking half dollars, somebody using TAPE to mark their halves, I was wondering if anybody on this forum puts tape on their halves or finds a lot of them as well,

I am sorry, I am unable to provide a photo of these tape half dollars, scanner is not working properly and I dumped my last batch of halves last week, maybe I can find another one in this week's order, there aren't many of them, maybe 2-5 per box??

The tape seemed to be clear tape, matte finish tape(whiter tape), as well as what appears to be thick rough medical style tape(hope that one is clean, ha).

I have found a few with tape it seems old. I can tell you some one must have spray painted halves with orange paint?? Seems like a good idea.Fast and easy to see?? You never know what your going to find.

I found acouple that were painted white !! got me excited at first..............cruel joke....i'd rather orange !!!!!!
