Halves no more

Looks like I get to find a new bank to get halves. I got the dreaded call that due to space restrictions in the vault they would no longer be order halves for me.

I'll never understand this. When my halves get to the bank the teller calls me and I come get them that day. They never even make it to the vault. How long are you letting them sit there once the bank calls and says they are there?

I never let the halves sit long for obvious reasons they won't tell me when the truck gets there but while setting up this bank the vault manager at the time said the later in the day the better so I opted for 3 in the afternoon, and never had to come back later. Of course vault size was only one of the reasons that they made up. I did enjoy making the poor sap that called ie "my manager said" squirm by telling them that they no longer served my needs so mabye I should move my money to another bank. which drew the following " we offer a lot of products to you as a customer and we would hate to lose your business". I am tempted to draw my account down to $1 and see if I get their attention. Have also considered making them my dump station since they have a very nice self serve coin machine and see if I can fill that tiny vault up with dumps.
