Well... sort of...
First off is this clad quarter I found that looks like someone took a ball peen hammer to it.
The best part though was the silver...
This ring was marked as sterling silver!! This makes ring #5. The breakdown is 2 Gold and 3 Silver. I found the ring on my walk around the park. This park is ridiculously loaded with trash. In the middle of the field in a lower concentration of trash, I was desperate to get some sort of signal as the wifey allotted only one hour to hunt. Despite the time limit, I went low and slow with the 5x8 coil in this very old park. A few targets later I heard a faint high tone immediately followed by several trashy mid tones. I dug down about six inches and the pinpointer indicated the target was still in the bottom of the hole. I scooped out another 2-3 inches and saw this beauty.
The best part is it fits and I am an eagle scout. It was a blast returning to the park. This was the first hunt since I found my $3K Opal ring. I think I found my new honey hole as I also found a wheatie with the Opal Ring. Just have to get through the trashy sod layer...
