Here is a large flint hand axe i found in scioto, county ohio.
it fits the hand real nice.

I am more inclined to think what you have there is a flint hoe.... Is the smaller end shiney, it appears so in pictures.... Lots of hoes are shiney on one or both ends from repeated use in the ground..... I am thinking maybe stem hoe, it sure looks like the one end is shiney from use.

That is a fine looking tool choo. I guess it could be hafted or not. Looks like something you would want in your tool box though. Nice find sir.
