Hi,
We were at a family reunion at bear lake here in Utah. While i was off detecting finding over three hundred coins and a nice silver ring for the four days, my Nephew lost his white gold wedding band on the beach. He recruited me to find it. After a mere 10 minutes I pulled it out from under the sand with my tesoro tejon. My nephew and his wife were ecstatic! it also brought my gold ring total for the year up to 4. happy hunting! kane 23

300 coins in 4 days are'nt that many. Looks at my totals for the year, in january I found 364 coins in one day, happy hunting...Kane 23

thanks kane. i appreciate that. i dont have a metal detector yet. we just moved. but as soon as im settled in i'm getting one. i'll probably need lots of help then, but i have been reading all the posts here and have learned alot already ,so i should have a good head start. just cant wait as i already know of numerous locations of old homes and already have permission for others. dont know how long its going to take for me to settle in as we just started working o.t. 7 days a week for the last few weeks and its slowed me down. oh well at least when i'm done i'll have enough money for a good detector. in the meantime i'll have to live through you guys here on t-net

I found a horseshoe that rolled into the water's edge for some drunk college guys while on vacation. Not as poetic of a story and they probably forgot it right after I left....but funny all the same.

thanks kane. im sure i'll need it. cant wait. gonna buy a good one, still trying to decide which one. shouldnt get too much flak from the better half because i just bought her a beautiful home and filled it with new furniture. that should keep her happy........till the next time i mess up.lol.
