Hi all, Mirage said that my partner and I should name our new hunt site. So we picked Happy Trails. From time to time I will have updates on this spot.

My partners name is Gary and he and I had a very special day today. We thought Friday was a great day, heck we had just as good a day today.

I am posting two pictures of my finds. Gary also found just as much, his finds include 6 silver quarters, 5 mercury dimes, 5 silver Roosevelt's, 1 barber dime, 1 buffalo nickel, and 20 wheat pennies. I don't have any dates for his coins.

I found this beautiful Lady 1942 Standing Liberty Half Dollar, a standing Liberty 1929 quarter, 1935, and 1951 s quarters. Silver dimes include Mercury's 1929, 1941 D, 1942 S, 1944, Rosevelets, 1946, 1947, 1948, 1950, 1950 D, 1951, 1953 D, 1958 D. Two War nickels dated 1944 D and 1944 P. Also found one St Christopher and one Virgin Mary pins.

In the second picture I found 34 Wheat pennies.

Wow, What a day. Thanks for looking at our post and hope your day was just as good.

P.S. We also ate lunch in the field, MRE's and pears, detector is at the side, ACE 250

Great finds but I would have rather eaten that ace rather than the jambalaya.

I know what you mean about eating the ace, rather than the jambalaya. Man that stuff is hot, hot, hot. My partner ate that and I had beef enchilada, it was kinda hot, but my partner always puts the hot sause on everything and he said Wooooooooooooooo, man that Jambalaya is hot hot hot. I think he drank a gallon of water.

Thanks for everyone's replies. Yes Mirage, I think my partner and I are going to give the Iceberg a run for it's money. We didn't go there today, but did some relic hunting. My partner smoked me again, he found a 1857 1/2 cent and 2 IH's. I only found 1 IH, 1899. But that's the way it goes.

Ringfinder / Mirage:
I don't know about how long your spot can keep that up, but just to give you a point of reference if we are drawing an actual comparison of finds. Last night I counted the silver that I alone have pulled from the 'Berg, and I am at 86 silver ( in 4 weeks)
I thought I heard Nate say that he and Mirage were close to 50 combined. Until I get an actual count, that would mean 136 silver coins in 4 weeks. Add to that the 24 Buffalo Nickles I have + Bob's Buffs, and that quite a bit!!

Wow, Danimal, that's a lot of silver. Not sure how much we have yet, will have to count it up. But i'm sure we are close, but then there is only two of us hunting here, and nope we don't need any help haha.

We haven't found any marbles yet, but were not done with this site.

Hope you guys get many more finds from the Iceberg before it becomes an Iceberg:)

Great finds you guys!

LOL @ the impromptu "who has the hottest site" competition.....

Ringfinder those are incredible finds that you have..... Hope that site delivers plenty more for you.

God bless
Peter

Whoooooooooooooooo, not sure what that is all about, but Gary and I both wish you guys the best of luck
at the Iceberg, and we both know that you are not using cheap detectors. Anyway good luck and maybe we can get together next summer for a little hunt somewhere.

HH, Ringfinder
