Hardstone single divot anvil

Single digit hardstone anvil. PF Jay Co. Ind.

I say most cause this one isnt quartzite but rather a heavy dense hard stone. Its clearly a hammer stone but yet has a divot on the side. Could of been used for a couple of things though. I find them with shallow divots and deep divots. Interesting to me.
