Ha! yes, for me too. I think we can make a sure fire bet this wasn't made in the U.S.. Something matching of European manufacture will eventually show up, maybe something even Dutch. Then you've got King James "Defender of the faith of France.. as well as defender of the rest of your country. Here in New Jersy I even found a 1650's liard so I know at least that french currency was accepted then. No clue on any place specific place the french might have camped or lived in Mass. though.![]()
