have you ever gotten a proof coin in circulation? if so what denom? i will start i got a 1985 nickel at a auto parts shop.

I got a 1980 quarter from a convenience store. Its the only one I have ever got and just so happens its the year I was born.

Got 2 proof state quarters and a proof john adams dollar at my work. Ive found a few proofs in CRH as well.

I've found a proof nickel, couple proof dimes, and lots of proof Kennedy halves. ffd

I found a 2000-S penny, a 1985-S nickel, and a 1981-S dime.

i found a1995 proof penny in my pocket

 

[Heavy Chevy]

I recieved a 1971-S Ike dollar at a gas station once.
The customer in front of me spent it and a 1964 Kennedy Half on a pack of smokes.
I asked the girl behind the counter if i could buy them and she said "Yes."
Not sure if this counts as a transaction though, but i was happy !
