Headphone Loudness

I just bought the Killer B Stinger headphones, and was wondering if it was right (normal) that when you turn the dial to the left it gets louder? I’m used to things getting louder when you turn dials to the right.

As long as the volume goes increases or decreases, I'd say they're working okay.

Normal operation of a knob type dial for headphone volume is,
Turn to right,, decrease - Turn to left,, increase
On a radio with knobs, it is the opposite. (I guess it depends on where the product is manufactured.)
