First time out swingin this year. The snows gone, the ground's finally thawed and it got up to 60 degrees here in eastern Ohio today. Spent some time in the woods around an old one room schoolhouse site and came up with a few neat relics. When i saw that change purse come out of the dirt i was hoping there would be at least an Indian head with it or somewhere around it. I pounded the area but no coins. A beauty day to be out, thanks for havin a look! HH Jerry

Good you got out and glad spring is on its way! Coin purse was probably full of $100.00 dollar bills that rotted away, LOL. HH, Mike

Hey Jerry, glad to see you at it again and expect to see some good finds soon. That is a great-looking purse...too bad it was empty. Must have been someone I was related to.

Extremely nice "Victorian" era purse! Breezie

Very cool Victorian era purse.

You probably found the results of an 1800's snatch and grab purse robbery :tongue3:
