I've always been interested in detecting and I finally decided to dip my toe in the pool. Printed off a HL coupon and picked up a Tracker 4 nice and cheap as well as a 4" coil on Amazon. After getting everything ready my back gives out and now I need surgery. Guess I'll be on the sidelines reading for awhile longer. On the plus side I'm enjoying reading all of the stories and advice here!

I ended up getting three chunks of disc taken out of my back that were pressing on nerves. Now to recover so I can start digging! Reading about everyone's fun is making me green with envy!
