Hello from Southern California

I've been retired for a few years and decided I need to get out in the world more. I've watched a lot of metal detecting videos lately and it looks like a lot of fun. Sooo..When I saw an ad for what seemed to be a good entry level machine I went out and bought one. I tried it out this week at a local park and learned my first MT lesson. Don't just glance at the manual! These things have a learning curve! lol Anyway, nice to be a member.

Welcome to your, at times, frustrating addiction. Oh yeah it is an exciting hobby but you must take the education it puts up too. But it is just too much fun to stop now....Happy Hunting.

Welcome, I am in Central CA. I just started MD last week, but I have been coin roll searching and penny hoarding for a little longer. I agree about the instructions, I finally looked at the panel during hunting yesterday.
