HELP! 1700's shilling notes
?
Need some info on these two notes. They appear to be notes for shilllings and they look real and old.
One is for five shillings and is blank on the back. Dated 1778. South Carolina.
The other has printing on two sides and appears to be from PA.
This one is for fifteen shillings and is dated 1773.
Any info and maybe a value would be great.
Thanks.

It doesnt matter because the bills are best IDed by the serial numbers and pre 1978 replica copies do not need to be marked. I think you should check the numbers on suspect bills instead of looking for a tiny facsimile mark that may or may not exist.
