Found this at an old home site over the summer. I cant date it or even figure out how old the site is. Any help will be appreciated. Here is some stuff I found there. It is just an old over grown foundation in the middle of the woods

my guess is the toy tea cup dates to the 40's. Probably Peter Rabbit or Benjamin Bunny.

That is a very cool cup!!!!

Thanks, I was lost on that one

That cup is a nice find. It looks just like the rabbit depicted in early Alice in Wonderland editions. That looks awfully well made for a childs tea set. What's the metal? It looks like aluminum...that would help date it.

Not sure but I'm Fairly positive it's aluminum, very light

I'd guess it probably dates to 40's or 50's given that aluminum wasn't commonly used much prior to that I don't believe. That ebay post looks like the identical cups...you can even see the rabbit imprint from the inside.

might want to take some site pics next time you are out there - often the construction of a foundation is a pretty good indicator of its age.

you sure find alot of stuff, i like the latch too
