help......headphone change out

Completed the pastor mod on my Excalibur II with the yellow koss headphones . All went well but
Now the volume on the threshold is very low with no volume charge. If I turn the threshold up there is no change. Any help.....

Thanks.......don't know what I did but I may have to get a new set of I can't figure out this issue. Never cut any wires just took apart the yellow phones trimmed the outer edge to fit in the pastor headphones. Pretty simple. Very low sound. So just asking how did you make out with the snow. Hope not that bad.
