So i recently detected a use to be farm near Cold Harbor, VA. I dug up this very interesting looking thin brass thing. It has lead residue on the back where Maybe a pin or something use to be. Any thoughts are welcome.

How heavy is it?
Possibly a sash adornment for parade/dress uniforms
