Hello all,
New here. I am looking for information in identifying this COB. It is 27.5 grams without Bracket. It came from my estate and i am looking to try and date it and find out more about it. I believe it is 8 Escudos and is gold.

Welcome to Treasurenet !!
It's a fantasy coin; not a cob, not a real coin.
Don.......
that helps... thats what I thought. It is solid gold tho...
Thanks

you had it tested?
not sure why someone would cast a solid gold fantasy coin
kind of looks plated
IMO

Has been Verified, 22 Carat solid gold, Weight is 27.5 grams. Roughly the size of a silver dollar and a little thicker. The Bracket that is on it was custom made to protect it and not damage it. All I am asking is for a little help figuring this out, not to be belittled. Thank you all for your time and I will not bother anyone here. I will close my account.

It is a custom made piece of jewelry.
