Help identifying some older maps I found last weekend.

Went to a garage sale last weekend and found these maps in an old box with some very old playbills. I had already bought the box and had it home before I saw these. I am not a map guy so I am not sure what I have here. These pics are from one map, I could send pics of the others if needed. I think it has something to do with a war? The top pic is only half the map.

Well the War Office 1943 mark puts it in WW 2 of course. Perhaps an email to the WW2 museum in New Orleans would yield some good information.
