Help needed on belt buckle id

Can anyone shed any light on the belt buckle.
On the leather I see J.J Layner & sons, 24 Lord Street, Liverpool.

May be from a livery uniform, which can make it hard to find a match. But I hope we can!
I think it would say J.J.Raynor

I'm think it was Merchant Navy, it reminds me of the Cunard Shipping Company.

The Cunard Shipping Company had that exact same Livery - Rampant Lion holding Globe & wearing Crown;

It is also very similar to the East India Company.
