Help please

I was following a trail and a tree with a bear face pointed to this area. Can anyone tell me if these are symbols and what they might mean?

I think a bear represents some type of danger or death trap. Someone else may elaborate more though.

I believe it's KGC. There are two bear cubs, one points to the symbols. I'm more interested in the symbols. I have an idea what they are, I'm looking for a confirmation.
