I am thinking Eagle Scout. Looks like the Boy Scout symbol with an eagle on it.

Could the lettering read "Be Prepared" in the banner across the bottom? That's the Scout motto.

Definitely Boy Scout, and Definitely it says "Be Prepared.' Scouts was started in the early 1900's. Your button is PROBABLY off of the jacket. Think bright red pea coat.

Yeppers, it's a Boy Scout button. The one I found was more like a badge than a button with the Fleur-de-lis, and no eagle. Neat find, Breezie
