Help with artist signature

Can anyone help with this signature? Thinking it has to be someone decent to go through and get it professionally framed and looks to be recently not in 1972

Have you contacted the frame service and asked if they can match the frame number to the artist?

I would think that's probably going to be a job number or some other reference to customer records (which might be artist or owner of the painting) kept by the framing company.

It's worth a shot to call and ask. Red-Coat is probably right. It's likely a job or order number. If they still have a record of the sale they may have collected information on the artist from the frame buyer at the time.
