i see alot of people on here hunt rivers and creeks. i have a few nice rivers around here,but are to deep to look in,so ive been trying a few creeks around the corn fields i hunt,and with no luck at all. does anyone have any tips to help me on hunting these creeks. thanx

Here in Ohio the rut is in full swing. Lucky that buck didn't take more interest in you. They can be pretty aggressive during that time.

Great pics of the creek. I'm sure you will be able to find some artifacts, just got to look closely. I was just looking at the tree roots, did you check that area good? I find that having a hiking stick with you helps a lot by keeping your balance & to flip over leaves, rocks for a possible find...keeps you from having to bend over to retrieve what you may think is an artifact but just a leaf. BTW, that's a huge buck, glad he didn't chase you. Be safe & happy hunting.

ya i live around the galesburg area,ya the bucks are in full rut here to so i was a little scared myself,but he just stared at me. ya i think the crick will be good. ill post more pics up soon
