Detector(s) used
Currently use Garrett AT Pro, Previously used the Fisher F2 for one year
Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
Every once in a while I will hear the audio--- which should be in my headphones---outside my headphones. Then it will come back in my headphones as it should be normally. It is a problem I've had for a while and is very annoying. Has anybody else had this happen and what did they do to fix it? 7up

See if it does it with another pair of headphones .
Try some compressed air in the phone jack.
Try some kind of contact cleaner on the phone plug .

Hmmm. An out of headphone experience!

What kind of headphones?

Sounds like a back contact/short in the detector jack.

Plugging in the headphones should open the circuit to the internal speaker. Are you pushing the headphone plug in all the way?
