Help with identifying signature on earrings!

I bought these earrings at an estate sale recently but I cannot for the life of me figure out what the signature is on the back. I believe they are handmade and they test for silver. Thank you for your help! Oh, I got them for $.50. I hope the images come out right side up!!

Wild guess, but Mavis Edge?? I haven't googled that name or for similar, but that is what I see. Hope a search gets you some results.
