help with mark!?

have a piece that's marked marked
sterling
-w- it's doesn't mean weighted and the mark isn't on 925-1000.com does anybody have any idea who's mark it is? the piece is a toothpick holder if that helps

so the more digging I've done I think it's Wendell mfg. co. just that the lions are worn down to the point that they just look like dashes

hello. I'm terrible with hallmarks....... but I have a trick.

In the "Garage Sale Finds" thread, at the top is a sticky master list (see link).
Just scroll down the list to silver. I found those links helpful when trying to id some of my stuffs.
