Help with Native American pottery

I'm thinking it came from around the green highlighted area on this map.

Arthur Tequaecshe is a potter from Santa Clara Pueblo. New Mexico. His works are usually decorated with motifs borrowed from other cultures, rather than using traditional Santa Clara designs. Your example shows a Hopi Koyemsi or Mudhead. More recently he declared himself to be a "Medicine Man" and espoused what some anthropologists and Indian traditionalists criticize as new age claptrap, and accuse him of making it up as he goes along. Last I heard, he was living in Newark, Ohio.
