I think it is a capital Cursive "A" Because the artist isn't rendering curved body shapes very well with shadow, I am going to guess it is a self-taught artist. And the work would be called corresponding to that fact, "Outsider Art" meaning not formally trained Artists hand has created it. Very few "Outsider Artists' ever make it very big or not there work ever has countable value money-wise in the actual Art world. The only exception would be a college level art piece created during class which, if the artist became famous later, would have value monitarily.
