I need help ID'ing the first set of pictures the second set I believe is an old table leg or something

If it was a cane handle wouldn't it be solid

Should provide measurements on second item. It appears to be 1/2 (side) from a black powder flask--that is, if it is copper. However, if it is iron, it is a piece to an old cast iron stove leg (broken). Can't tell from photo the type of metal from which the object is constructed.

I agree with Dirt jockey on the cane topper and Southern Digger on the pot belly stove leg, I have dug several and they all look like that, cast iron of course. Happy hunting, Sub

Well I usually ask at the same time but they were finds from today so I figured I'd grab opinions
