My mother in law recently passed at 96 years old. As a child of the depression she never three anything away . I found these in a little baggie. Any idea on what they are? 1567514487996.jpg 1567514538739.jpg

I can't really tell with the lighting in your pictures maybe take more pictures outside in sunlight and someone could help you better but they look a lot like ant hill garnets we have here in Arizona but tumbled, "if"they are they are very popular pyrope garnets.
