I have been confused about Meteorites. I have map dowsed a few meteorite. Only one of them was a true meteorite. The latest one is a rock that measures 7 X 7 and 5 inches high and weighs 22 pounds. That is a heavy rock. The contend is iron, nickel, granite, iridium, tantalum and titanium and some silver. Three spots on it are magnetic. The local rock shop gets excited but that’s all they know. Is there a web site where I can find the make up of Mereorites? Every placed I have looked it has been Nickel and Iron and may or may not be Magnetic..Art

Thanks pippinwhitepaws…I am pretty sure I have a Chondrites Meteorite. When I filed a window in it the results look just like the photo on the web site. …Art
