I would guess that it is homemade. Found at a garage sale yesterday along with a few pieces of costume jewelry. The ring itself is 14k (marked k14) but the face of the ring is silver. Also what do you think the stone is? I'm thinking lapis lazuli but I've never seen Lapis this blue before. I'm wondering if I should tear it apart and separate the gold and silver.

The silver top of the ring looks like typical Chinese export silver. Possibly someone was unhappy with the adjustable shank that they normally have and had it replaced with a gold shank?

I would have to agree with the other two I would keep it as it is I believe you can make more money that way that is a gorgeous ring I would think lapis lazuli to

Nice ring find. Looks great just the way it is and probably worth more the way it is. Congrats

I agree with the others, keep it for awhile; and do some research...who knows!

lapis is usually darker
send it to me and I'll check
