What a great day to hunt this morning. Weather was cool (75*), water was somewhat calm, and no jellies. Ran into a couple of hunters who had already been out here an hour earlier or more. Not to many finds in the water, just a few coins and a hoop earring.
Decided to hit the granny line one more time and BAM, a nice 10.2 gram ring with diamond ( tested real). No markings on the ring however, it looks like its been resized before. I can imagine this guy throwing a football and this heavy thing flying off and sinking like a lead weight.
Also dug up a 1924 mercury dime way up by the dunes. Maybe its a sign of things underneath there.

Nice ring. That's why I don't get upset when I see other hunters. It's impossible to get it all.

I've been finding wheat cents and one silver quarter lately at the beach. Maybe coming from the dunes.

VERY Nice Paul... Not much going on here sanded in real bad ,,, water finds are zero . its a lot better in the wet sand , getting a lot of old beaver tales ,, That was stripped off pretty good but all that sand ended up in the water ,,,, Guzz
