Hey, all ya'll Texicans....

(that is authentic Texas talk, for the uninitiated)
Where do you do your artifact hunting? No, not specific, latitude, longitude, down to a gnats behind. Just maybe narrow it down to a county or part of the state. Show a good example from your area. The following is a newly found piece, from Lost Creek, Brown County.

I hunt Brown county, mainly. But am going to be branching out and doing a lot of looking around on the Brazos River, in Brazos County, now that I have some newly acquired water transport. That, is going to open up a LOT of possibilities that previously did not exist.

I am from West Texas and do a lot of surface hunting, this is where i found my Clovis, we have a lot of sand storms and after a good windy day that is when i go and look and usually find some good points, me and my wife also go to centeral texas and go on paydigs around campwood tx we have a lots of points from down there also, here is another photo of the corner tang that my wife found at campwood. and some more of the points that i have found in Gaines co.

The only possible improvement on that would be including pictures of the uniface tools & bifaces that the picture cropping's cut off around the top & sides !

campwood is the chit, i first wet there in 2001-2002ish.awesome there, you ever dig on russels place. about half of these are from there

Nice points I have never been to russels place, I dig with TJ Jenning at the shoepeg ranch and at vanderpool and Nacho's Here are some from there.

Nice appliances ther that you have.

Yo Bravo, it looks like these early TX Indians like to use the same style. I found this piece on a gravel bank next to the Colorado river stuck in the mud here in TX. Almost identical except the material and the amount of flaking. .COOOOOL!!!!!!! Prob paleo. It's a uniface, but on the bottom it loos like a fire pop mark, ?
