The site has been down for 3 or 4 days, so it seems more than minor problems. I saw a few days before the site went down that divingdoc's account was deleted. Do you know why?

Pardon me for being slow on the uptake, but what is (or, what was?) HHI?

Thank you!

Good luck to all,

It is/was a website started by a former member who loved to bash Oddysey Marine. Apparently OMR is suing him for his comments posted on the net.

Maybe they got a court order to remove the site and his post!

Robert... Odyssey had nothing to do with Doc's account being deleted. His account was canceled by the admin, but his posts were still up. They said he wasn't banned, and they would revisit their decision in six months. I think it could have had something to do with his bankruptcy. He stuck the banks and credit cards for $238,000. Makes you wonder about the saying, "treasure is where you find it." :(

Thanks Jeff. I don't think I have been to HHI in well over a year.

Thanks for keeping us up to date.

Read the message they have posted !
Someone or person"s did not want them posting certain information ! :icon_study: maybe they got to close ?
I for one will miss HHI, they weren't scared to put factual information out there !
They were true to there name History Hunters !!!!!
Hopefully they will be back on line soon.

I don't believe there was a DoS attack. The fact that someone can put up a message belies that claim.... IP is 74.86.85.32. That hasn't changed. As does the fact that historyhuntersworldwide was functioning, and it's on the same server along with 100 or so other sites. A DoS attack will affect the entire server.
