Hello and welcome to TN sorry don't have any info on your find but I'm sure someone will help you out. Lot of great people on hear willing to help. You may want to put up few more pics with different angels and put something with it to give an idea of its size. Happy hunting.

Welcome to the forum!!

Also what do you think the item is made of, it appears to be copper, but hard to tell with out seeing it in person, so the more input from you the better chance of getting an ID on your item.

ty for replies it appears to be copper or bronze maybe? and it measures about 3 1/2 in long and 3 in tall...i know its a broach of some sort because it had a pin on the back which broke off when i was cleaning it but mainly just wondering if the stones on it are anything of value....ty

Great find dboy1980!

You might consider browsing Sub-Forums: Kentucky for information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state.

Welcome to TN. I like your find but doubt that the stones will be valuable. I've dug several like yours and none of them had a stone of any value.
