well since I was 8 Years old & Don't remember Anything about it Other Then
I was P.O'd the TV Had Nothing Good on to Watch. for like forever :BangHead:

I was probably Ripping off School that day & Having A Ball
running around the woods & Mining Sites exploring.
I had 10's of Thousands of acres of Old Mining Roads, Bootleg Holes, Strip Mines,
Etc Surrounding My Home to Explore, & No body Knew what No Trespassing Signs Were .

Wasn't important to me.
That much I do Remember.

What did you want me to do ? Lie ? :tongue3:

not sure this is a good post . . . .
I was in the USN stationed in Naples and at the bar in the Capodichino airport with Italian friends (I speak Italian). I was super pissed at *** because of the Bay of Pigs fiasco as the CIC, I brought everyone to the bar and bought a round of drinks - and told them what a good day it was. I was almost assaulted as *** was a saint in Italy. Took me ~30yrs to understand that I was wrong.

I think it is interesting that C.S. Lewis, and Aldous Huxley died on that day.

I was watching TV and couldn't watch cartoons because of it. It was on every channel. Of course there were only 4 or 5 channels I think!

Wow I didn't realize that Mike Tyson clinching the heavy weight belt was such a big deal!
