I always wanted to find a Warner's. Definitely on my list.

Nice digs, love the lamp, nice that it came out whole. How that's even possible is mind boggling...

The Goulds you got is the tougher of the two to find, sorry I wasn't around to take your call, spent the day with my nieces....

Sweet finds once again!!

Don't be leaving bottles behind,I know somebody that would take them off your hands.lol

Great finds!

A while back while searching archived newspapers for references to dumpsites, I came across this New York Times article from 1894 describing the wretchedly polluted condition of the Passaic river below the falls. It also references a large dumpsite a half mile downstream of the falls on the Paterson side. No need to divulge your spot but it might be an area worth checking out too. The article is a fascinating piece of early investigative journalism and is well worth the read:

You are really on a heck of a good spot!

Hi Jim, just got home and see you did well again. I'd be interested in the Platkin hutch if it's available, I have work tomorrow morning and a doctors appt at 2:30, don't know when I'll be out of there.... Jim

Platkin & Kantrowicz were partnered from 1897-1900, after that Kantrowicz went out on his own for a few years before bringing his son into the business..

Nice job jim, all in a day's work. You have some more fantastic finds including some awesome relics. Congratulations on the gold chain, any idea what karat it is? The razor thingy is also very nice and i would proudly display it as well. I don't know much about those local bottles but like you, i am a fan of the eagle embossed bottle, and the hutch e-package was inquiring on. Like my good friend Forrest's mother used to say, "life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get."

Awesome once again!!

I think the non-glass finds are just as exciting to find as the old bottles. That old lock looks like it cleaned up nice.
Keep the finds coming.....look forward every day to see what new you stuff you've saved.
