Rain threat finally ceased, so I headed out late morning to seek my fortune.

Did a bit of dry sand detecting as I waited for the tide to recede..not much found except an army of sand flies and sand fleas

Finally moved out to ankle deep water among a rocky / pebbly area. Visibility was clear and I was able to see a group of smal sized rocks so I headed over and after hearing the target among the rocks, I removed a couple of rocks and dug out a thickly tarnished...(kind of oily surface tarnish) silver bracelet.
This type of tarnish is so very hard to clean..takes a lot longer than the crusty type tarnish, but I managed to clean it up.
Here's some pics of today's finds, and also a pic of a 1939 "Merc" found yesterday in low tide mud...quite good condition for where it was bedded.
