Pre-heat over to 450 degrees. Mix 2 cups Martha White self rising flour with 7 tablespoons of lard, pour in 1 cup (Sweet Milk or Buttermilk). I always put my dough in a flour dusted dishrag and just pat it about 1/2 thick, cut with biscuit cutter or glass and place on pre-pared baking pan. 20 min. approx in oven. When done I always brush my biscuit while they are hot out of the oven with sweet butter. (Just always remember when making biscuits, the wetter the batter the better).
