How do you Store Silver?

I was wondering how people store silver. Do you card them, throw them in a container if there just common silver like rosies or kens?

i like to store my franklins/ 64' kens in a plastic tube. the 40% in paper rolls. and the WLH in 2x2 cardboard holders. i'm a coin collector and just can't put the walkers in a tube/roll. i know people say it's just junk silver but i just can't get myself to throw em in a bag or a roll. :dontknow:

took me some time to do that even with the franklins ::)

I put dates that I don't have previously in cardboard holders. Any duplicate dates, I throw in tubes or paper rolls. Duplicate walkers, frankies, & 90%ers all go into tubes. 40%ers go into plastic ziplock bags of $100 face value.

Have a old bathtub left over from the re-model of the single wide which I toss all the silver into. Makes it easier to go swimming in all my silver.

Depends on the silver you are talking about.

ASE are kept in my collection book(Complete by the way) and the leftovers are kept in ASE containers from the mint (Green Top and White Base).

Frankies and Kenny's are stored in coin safe white square containers that hold a roll, the 40%'ers are stored the same way just in a different location.

Barbers are kept in my Liberty Head book collection (Almost full :hello2:

).

Regular Silver Bullion is kept in the White Containers and some are in ASE containers in my safe/vault. The only thing that goes in 2x2's are the rare coins like silver Ike's, 1923 Liberty Standing Quarter, Barber Quarters (Haven't started the book yet), Walkers (haven't started the book but have purchased the two book set to start on :laughing7:

), Gold and so on.

All NGC Slabbed coins are kept in NGC containers.

In a secure location (the same place they took Cheney after 9/11).

But seriously, the UNC halves, Morgans, etc usually go in the hard plastic snap lock individual round holders, others go in the round/square tubes or cardboard 2X2's. Most of my 40% Halves and junk dimes and quarters, war nickels are in paper rolls. The really good stuff is in my safe deposit boxes (ie UNC rolls of Walkers, Kenns, Franklins, ASE's, silver wash quarters), the rest in lock boxes and safe(s).
