How have you spent the money youve made Metal Detecting?

I think we're living in the wrong area. :dontknow:

I spent the money I made getting better MD equipment.

873 more Mercury dimes to go, and my eTrac is paid for!

I generally don't sell anything I find. Did 30 years ago when the other half left, but not nowadays.

Damn if I wouldn't love to tell EVERYBODY...!!!! But in all honesty I never found anything worthwhile MD'ing (but I was trying).

I need better places to hunt. Congrats on a large amount of finds

Most of my finds are on the patio tables making my wife mad, couple hundred in change and the valuable stuff in the house. I'm too lazy to clean my clad.

Never sold anything. Some went to students, other teachers over the years and everything left went to my university. Made a bunch of people happy...

Only hunted for 3 months in 2015 and this will be my 3rd month in 2016..........have accumulated a little over $160 in clad. I'm determined to acquire enough to make my detecting purchases pay for themselves and then save enough to purchase (if I don't find one ???) a 1909 VDB S and finish my Wheat collection.............

I spend it on cheap booze and expensive women. Or is that cheap women and expensive booze? Hard to remember...

So far, batteries:laughing7:. But when it get's better, it will go back into the hobby.

I turn clad to Silver.:laughing7:

GOD Bless

Chris

Me too, Since I will most likley not ever find a Morgan Silver Dollar,:BangHead: at the end of the year I buy them with my clad. Most years $200-$300 worth:laughing7:

It's my retirement savings!

Wait... you guys actually made money? D*&n! :BangHead: Until flip tabs and beer bottle caps become valuable, I'm deeply in the red - unless one considers that MDing is cheaper than a lot of other hobbies.

Since I am in the red several thousand dollars I haven't yet decided how to spend what I've lost in this hobby! Lol but it sure is fun learning machines and different types of hunting.

I bought my yacht and my Lamborghini - working on my winter home in St. Thomas now......... :occasion14:
