For all you Western New Yorkers out there who are not aware. There are two competition hunts in WNY both in Sept.
If you have not attended one before it is a great place to meet other people in the hobby. Even if you do not want to enter then feel free to come and watch. All are welcome.


12th—13th—Derby, New York. Niagara Frontier Relic Hunters Association’s 24th Annual International Treasure Hunt at Wendt Beach Park - Old Lake Shore Road. Angola on the Lake 5 miles off exit 57A NY I-90. Rain or Shine. Registration Sat. & Sun. 8:30-9:30 a.m. First Hunt starts at 10 a.m. both days. Hey all u New Yorkers you may want to buy United States Treasure Atlas #7 By Thomas P. Terry.
Has many treasure leads and ghost towns .
I used to sell then in my shop....im sure Kellyco and other MD shops still sell them.
All 50 states can be had.
#7 has N.Y. N.M. N.C. N.D. and Ohio.......im the mid 90s they sold for 9.95 must cost more now.
