I’ve found my share of Hot Wheels this summer, but this is my first older toy, and I’m really excited to have dig it with my daughter. Found it in a city park which apparently has never been searched before, so I’m definitely going back tomorrow—despite the snow flurries!

I found a match to this item at the link below. If you disagree or have any other insights, I’d appreciate it. The hunting season isn’t over yet!

Very nice find, and the memory of digging it with your daughter is the real prize. I found a Green Hubley pickup truck on a date night with the wife 5 years ago. You would have thought by her reaction that we had found the holy grail.

Cool find! Metal detecting with your daughter...priceless! :occasion14:

Nice Find

I found remnants of a Hubley Taxi a few years ago, thought it was pretty cool

Do you mean tapping out the dents, giving a new paint job, finding some wheels, etc.? That sounds fun. What else would that entail?

A little bondo lol No I find old hotwheels ect clean em sand em slap some color on em not to much detail just depends how far you want to go but yes it fun and fun to display...

Very nice find. Hubley and Tootsie Toy cars are my favorite old toys to find. Your daughter looks like she can't wait until she's 16 so she can drive it !
